Lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, his legal career has mainly developed in public law, particularly water law, advising in projects in the agroindustry, hydroelectric, mining, and sanitary sectors, among others. Mr. Contreras has extensive experience in different procedures regarding the obtention, sale and exercise of water use rights and hydraulic constructions before the Dirección General de Aguas.
